in 1965, donald goldin became general manager of victoria falls casino hotel, , family moved rhodesia. became naturalized rhodesian citizen, , in rhodesian general election, 1977 elected member of parliament, voice in ian smith government greater black inclusion. served less full term before dying @ age 46 on air rhodesia flight 827, casualty of rhodesian bush war.


the faanya met robert rose (1921-2009) in london in 1990s. retired american entrepreneur, world traveler, , enthusiastic explorer. married in 1993.robert introduced new wife explorers club way of club s british chapter. during marriage rose, established dual citizenship united states , britain. died @ age 88.
