in japan, there many sex museums called hihokan (house of hidden treasures) everywhere across country. located in amusement centers in popular sightseeing spots or spa resorts, , ran individuals, not organizations. date 1960s–70s; more such type of amusement resorts elder men have declined, , personal sex museums closed in 1990s-2000s.
