rasmussen accepted pitching coach position in cleveland indians minor league system in 1988. in 1991, jumped on minnesota twins organization, has remained ever since. 1991 through 1995 pitching coach rookie level gulf coast league twins, in 1996 , 1997, coached twins advanced affiliate, fort myers miracle, in 1998 jumped double new britain rock cats, , in 1999, returned miracle. following 2008 season, rasmussen promoted twins minor league pitching coordinator, position holds.
