the avro anson memorial commemorates 4 royal australian air force (raaf) airmen killed when avro anson aircraft crashed near clackline on 9 october 1942. memorial site located on low side of arvo anson road, in small park approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south-east of clackline. memorial, assembled members of local community in months following crash, features cairn of granite , boulders supporting jarrah cross. names , details of deceased airmen − flying officer lynton birt, sergeant geoffrey debenham, sergeant noel nixon, , sergeant kenneth hugo − carved cross. on years, memorial forgotten , lost, overgrown shrubs , trees. upon discovery in 1980s, memorial s history , significance researched, , restored in 1984 volunteers perth branch of royal australian air force association. since then, association has held annual memorial services @ site.

the clackline refractory heritage listed brickworks site in clackline, located on refractory road in valley near great eastern highway. abundant supply of fine quality clay discovered in clackline in 1898, led establishment of quarry , refractory. 1901, industry important western australia, brick products clackline used multiple government departments, fremantle gas company, , many goldmines. other users of bricks included railway department, perth gas company, fremantle smelter, , great boulder perseverance company. clackline refractory supplied bricks nearby pumping stations goldfields water supply scheme. of 2012, site in poor condition , deserted, apart stacks of various ceramic products. kilns suitable modern day production, site has older kilns constructed bricks, corrugated iron roofs supported metal poles. alongside these structures large brick chimney.

in 1929, clackline school s students , headteacher, e.w.membery commemorated 100th anniversary of british colonisation building monument. monument features sculpture of lion, plaque reading:

a restored rail carriage, serving museum, installed now-defunct clackline railway committee. railway carriage has been used venue community events, such farmers markets , weddings. located south of great eastern highway, opposite general store, walking trail passing under highway connects remains of clackline railway station.
