zimbabwe has won 8 olympic medals, 1 (team medal) in field hockey @ (boycotted) 1980 summer olympics in moscow, , other 7 swimmer kirsty coventry, 3 @ 2004 summer olympics in athens , 4 @ 2008 summer olympics in beijing. coventry won 2 gold medals, 4 silver, , 1 bronze.


zimbabwe did in commonwealth games , all-africa games in swimming, coventry winning 11 gold medals in different competitions. country hosted 1995 all-africa games.


in golf – in 1995 – zimbabwe reached final of dunhill cup, narrowly lost scotland.


in snowboarding - zimbabwe have single pro snowboarder name of michael lewer. born in bulawayo, moved scotland, began snowboarding career. after 8 years in scotland, moved alberta, canada in 2012. michael s main riding spots lake louise , sunshine, favourite norquay!

11th century parish church of St Leonard Hythe, Kent
