nergaard has recorded , performed songs al jarreau, pat metheny, toots thielemanns, , morten harket of a-ha. has had tord gustavsen , jarle vespestad 2 pillars in bands. vince mendoza received grammy award nomination best instrumental arrangement accompanying vocalist(s) award song thousand true stories in 2011.


in spring of 2012, nergaard released new album unclouded, based on recordings 2 guitarists hallgrim bratberg , håvar bendiksen. released on march 9 in norway , march 23 internationally. nergaard has written 9 new songs unclouded , has 2 covers on album: human killers , moon s harsh mistress jimmy webb. unclouded, nergaard has invited american guitarist john scofield contribute along georg wadenius, knut reiersrud, , nils petter molvær, among others.
