the waterfield student housing campus, bounded crescent avenue west, east coliseum boulevard , trier road south, , hobson road east, contains of privately owned residence halls. main academic campus , waterfield campus connected via crescent avenue pedestrian bridge, elevated above crescent avenue.


the research-incubator campus, bounded st. joe road west, stellhorn road south, dean drive north, , sirlin drive east includes northeast indiana innovation center, business incubator entrepreneurs. area of campus acquired in 2007 after fort wayne state developmental center s closure, land donated between ipfw , ivy tech community college of indiana.


the former mckay family farm, located on western bank of st. joseph river, bounded east coliseum boulevard south, st. joseph river east, , development north , west. plex indoor soccer facility, hefner soccer complex, holiday inn hotel, , steel dynamics keith e. busse alumni center located on portion of campus, connected main academic campus via pedestrian-only ron venderly family bridge. holiday inn operates on property leased indiana–purdue foundation, , affiliated ipfw s hospitality management program.


for 3 years grant through state of indiana provided bus service between student housing , campus of 2015 program has been cancelled. pedestrian , bicycling traffic accommodated through university s direct connection fort wayne rivergreenway, designated national recreation trail. trail part of larger 70 miles (110 km) fort wayne trail network.


the ipfw japanese saturday school (jss; フォートウェイン補習授業校 fōtowein hoshū jugyō kō), weekend japanese educational program designated japanese ministry of education, affiliated university , holds classes on university campus. established in 2006.

ipfw operated satellite facility in warsaw, indiana (about 40 miles (64 km) northwest of main campus) 2003 2013. ipfw warsaw center closed due improved distance learning technologies , increasing reliance on e-learning.
