john reginald lopes yarde-buller, 3rd baron churston (1873–1930), son , heir, born in 1873 , educated @ winchester college , later served many years in scots guards. served in boer war , awarded queen s medal. later aide-de camp viceroy of india , prince arthur, 1st duke of connaught , strathearn (1850–1942).


in 1907 @ age of 36 married jessie smither, actress stage name denise orme. 3 years later in 1910 after death of father, inherited lupton house. 3rd baron had 6 children, including joan yarde-buller, in 1936 in paris married prince aga khan. in 1926 major fire damaged lupton house , resulted in removal of third floor. of fine paneling , decorative plasterwork lost. died in 1930 , succeeded in title , estates son, richard yarde-buller.
