in 1932, buck rogers radio program, notable first science-fiction program on radio, hit airwaves. broadcast in 4 separate runs varying schedules. broadcast 15-minute show on cbs in 1932, on monday through thursday schedule. in 1936, moved monday, wednesday, friday schedule , went off air same year. mutual brought show , broadcast 3 days week april july 1939 , may july 1940, 30-minute version broadcast on saturdays. september 1946 march 1947, mutual aired 15-minute version on weekdays.


the radio show again related story of our hero buck finding himself in 25th century. actors matt crowley, curtis arnall, carl frank , john larkin voiced him @ various times. beautiful , strong-willed wilma deering portrayed adele ronson, , brilliant scientist-inventor dr. huer played edgar stehli.


the radio series produced , directed carlo de angelo , later jack johnstone.
